The Department of Textile and Fashion Designing was established in the year 2016 with the purpose of providing best education in the field of Textile and Fashion Designing. The department has industrial and academic collaborations, and this has positioned the department as the highest stride of progressive changes and innovations along with imparting discipline, creativity and tradition. The department have been sophisticated lab specialties like CAD Lab, Textile Testing Lab, Textile Processing Lab, Garment Construction Lab, Fashion Sketching and Illustration Lab, Pattern Making Lab and Draping Lab. Apart from the curriculum students are encouraged in learning and developing other skills through various workshops, seminars and other activities conducted frequently.

Our department students are participated in extracurricular & co-curricular activities like group discussion, quizzes, cultural meets, conferences & seminars, Fashion show, Industrial visit which will enhance their communication skill, creativity, leadership qualities & teamwork. We provided more than two certificate & value-added courses per year. Many of our alumni are placed in various top institutions both in academic and industries as professors, designers, quality controller, merchandiser, illustrators and also as successful entrepreneurs, Fashion designers, Boutique heads, Fashion illustrators, designers, Quality control managers and supervisors.
