Established in 2010, the Department of Business Administration has been engaged in offering quality management education. Through effective research work, teaching, and extension activities, the department constantly seeks to strengthen the ongoing process of management and extend the frontiers of management knowledge. Being conscious of its commitment and obligations to society, it has continuously striven to upgrade and fine-tune the skills and insights of the students through well-designed and industry-focused courses. There are 5 teaching staff members in our department. This Department aims at motivating students to take up higher studies in Management. So that they may blossom into effective entrepreneurs who would not be afraid of taking risks, or teachers and researchers who would contribute possibility towards the betterment of society or take up consultation to help business unitsleverage management knowledge.
The BBA program consists of Lectures, Research Projects, Case Studies, Seminars, Workshops, Management Quiz, Role Plays, Group Discussion, Team Building and other Student Centric Activities. To update the knowledge and have practical exposure to the industry visit in person the department organizes Industrial Visits.
The Department assists students in acquiring managerial, Technical, and leadership skills. A team of highly qualified, experienced, and committed faculty members Works to ensure that students strive relentlessly forexcellenceand persistently excel in their efforts. Then it has been maintaining its 100% results in every batch.
Eligibility B.Com, B.Com (CA) & B.Com (A&F)
- Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (Academic or vocational stream) conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or any examination accepted as equivalent. Preference will be given to those who have taken commerce as a subject in the qualifying examination.
OBJECTIVE
- The course aims at explaining the business environment in which the public and private sectors operate.
- It helps students to develop decision-making ability in real-time business situations
- It also focuses on developing operational and analytical skills in students to tackle business problems in different sectors.
- To develop leadership skills creativity and entrepreneurship.
