Hello everyone, I am Princy Angel John Shekar, a proud alumnus of the BBA Department at Sri Vijay Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science.
When I first looked for colleges, coming from Bangalore, I chose SVVCAS specifically for its strong reputation. Looking back, I know I made the right choice. One of the things I am most grateful for is the flexibility the college showed me. Even though Tamil is the default academic language in the region, the administration gave me the distinct privilege of choosing Kannada as my second language. That kind of personalized support made me feel truly welcome.
My daily commute is a fond memory now—riding my bike 15 kilometers back and forth to campus every day. It was a safe and enjoyable ride that I looked forward to. Life on campus was just as vibrant. I spent countless hours in our amazing library and computer labs, which were instrumental in my studies.
I also loved that the college gave me the space to express my cultural roots. I fondly remember participating in culturals where I could showcase “Bangalorian” - dance styles, and the encouragement I received was heartwarming. From the intense BBA quizzes to the sports events, every moment shaped who I am today.
A special thank you to our HOD, Mr. V. Kaviarasu., for his guidance and for reconnecting me with this wonderful alumni network. It’s an honor to be part of the SVVCAS family.
