- At SVVCAS, research is pivotal to fostering a knowledge society. This Research Policy is crafted to nurture inquiry, scientific temper, research aptitude, and capacity building among faculty and students. The institution supports quality publications, collaborative funding, innovation, and product development.

- Enabling access and encouragement to undertake funded research projects.
- Promoting interdisciplinary collaboration across departments.
- Providing seed grants and financial support for research and publications.
- Organizing seminars, workshops, training to keep the research community updated.

- Encouraging industry–institution tie-ups and external collaborations.

Research Ethics
- Ensure accuracy and honesty in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Properly cite sources and avoid plagiarism.
- Avoid ambiguous statements or over-claims that can mislead.
- Issue clarifications or corrections if errors are discovered.
- Acknowledge all funding sources in publications and presentations.
- Respect confidentiality of sensitive or private data.
- Use and maintain equipment and materials responsibly.
- Share, hand over, or relinquish resources per institutional or project rules.
- Observe all safety protocols in research operations.
- Ensure research does not contribute to environmental degradation.
- Report any ethical violation or misconduct, to be dealt with appropriately.
