The expectation of the corporate world from a fresh graduate has seen a paradigm shift in the last decade. The academic institutions are striving hard to update and upgrade to match the industrial requirements. So, there is always a need for bridging the gap between academia and industries. Corporates expect the state of the art technical skills, creativity and innovation, sound knowledge in fundamental subjects, analytical and critical thinking, positive attitude, good communication, group dynamics etc.

SVVCAS offers variety of need based programs from Day 1 by assessing the students' calibre and background. The periodic assessments make the students to introspect and go for extra mile in acquiring all the required skill sets. The mantra of SVVCAS is to empower our students to become 100% exployable with a right mixture of soft and hard skills. SVVCAS follows a principle of 70:30 for academic and skill development respectively.

The graduate can scale new heights in their career only if they possess certain life skills in addition to hard skills. As the English communication is the window to corporate world, emphasis is given to elevate the students to Cambridge Business English standards through BEC examination. The Real-Time State of the Art Technologies are given through various value-added courses and guest lecturers from leading MNCs. Our SVVCAS students are motivated through a variety of consistent training programs to understand and realise the steps involved to reach the pinnacle.

  • Communication: Basic English Grammar, Communicative English-Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, Vocabulary, Pronunciation and Cambridge Business English Certificate(BEC).
  • Problem Solving Skills: Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Effective Verbal and Non-verbal Communication, Rapport Building, Styles of Communication, Barriers of Communication, Benefits of Building Quality Relationship and Presentation.
  • Values & Ethics: Importance of Education, Service to Humanity and Society, Respecting Parents and Teachers, Indian Scientific Heritage and Patriotism.
  • Interview Skills: Attire, Body Language-Postures & Gestures, Eye Contacts, Etiquettes, Attitude, Group Dynamics, Group Discussion and Personal Interview Techniques.
  • Life Skills: Goal Setting, Positive Thinking, Self-Confidence, Self-Realization, Self-Esteem, Time Management, Self-Motivation, Auto Suggestion and Resilience.
